We had a totally fantastic privacy to our self. The gazebo across the private pool is fantastic for a nap. Skinny-deep in the night, before bed is fantastic. One of the best restaurant (Sarong) in Petitenget is around the corner. Surprisingly good quality shoe shop is just across the street. I recommend this villa for people who wants to stay in, without going out too much.(Roslim C., Malaysia)
villa kecapi petitenget, a non-central dated villa, is located about 1 hour from kuta beach and 1 hour from the airport in traffic. cab rides ranged from 800 to 1000 to kuta and the taxi drivers were usually reluctant to drive us due to traffic.

the positive side is the wonderful young staff, the beautiful setting away from the hustle and bustle, the lovely outdoor pool, patio, and living room areas. the breakfast, prepared and served in your private villa, is also very nice.

however, the inside of the villa is very 80's. feels like you are staying in an older relatives house. the bathrooms in particular need an update...dated pink sunken bathtub, quirkly plumbing, tired towels, and funky shower.

although the staff was welcoming and nice, upon arrival, they simply helped us roll out luggage into the villa, left us a breakfast order checklist and left. they did not show us around the villa or mention any of the amenities...in particular that there was a switch to turn on the hot water heater.

because of this, we took cold showers during our stay there.
and the pool was freezing.

Villas Kecapi Bali is a very lovely and beautiful villa. The living area and rooms are spacious. The staff prepared excellent breakfast in your villa. They are friendly and always with a smile. The villa and surrounding area are clean and peaceful. Highly recommended to you.(Lim S., Singapore)
